our annual dc event
Every year, diverse and influential guests gather in support of Development without Dependency. A long-time fixture of DC, Roots of Development’s annual fundraising event brings together prominent leaders in the business, political, and non-profit spheres to show their solidarity with the fight against poverty.
In 2025, 150 people enjoyed a night of food, wine, and live music at the beautiful Agora restaurant in Washington, DC. Guests also enjoyed a Haitian rum tasting, silent auction, Haitian metal art display, and wearable floral accessories.
